ADATA’s gaming brand, XPG, has recently released the new SX8100 PCIe 3.0 NVMe SSD. It will be the more budget-friendly option than the SX8200 Pro, with slightly lower performance.



The SX8100 transfers data through a PCIe 3.0×4 interface. It can achieve a maximum sequential read/write speeds at 3500 MB/s and 3000 MB/s. Random operations can reach up to 300,000 IOPS in read and 240,000 IOPS in write. Buyers can choose between three storage capacities, including 512 GB, 1 TB and 2 TB.

The drive has a MTBF of 2 million hours and comes with a 5-year warranty. They are rated endurance of 320 TBW, 640 TBW and 1280 TBW respectively. Prices and availability has yet to be announced.
