ASUS keeps on expanding product coverages for the Republic of Gamers (ROG) brand to different areas, such as PC cases and power supplies. Recently, they released a new M.2 NVMe SSD enclosure, named ROG Strix Arion.

The enclosure accepts most M.2 PCIe NVMe SSDs (M key) with form factors of 2230, 2242, 2260, and 2280. M.2 SATA drives in B key will not be compatible. The installation should be simple without the need of a screwdriver. The ROG Strix Arion uses a USB 3.2 Gen 2 interface, capable of transferring data at 10 Gbps (around 1250 MB/s). It is equipped with an ASMedia ASM2362 bridging chip.

The case is made of aluminum and is fitted with thermal pads to help dissipate heat from the NVMe SSD. More importantly, as a ROG product, there are Aura Sync-compatible RGB lighting around the enclosure.

No pricing and availability information is provided at the moment.
