Razer Releases New Raptor Gaming Monitor for $700 USD

First teased as a prototype in CES 2019, Razer finally released the Raptor gaming monitor to the market. It is priced at $699.99 USD (MSRP), and is available to purchase on Razer.com in the US (at the moment).



The Raptor monitor have not changed much from prototype. It sports a 27-inch IPS display with a resolution of 2560×1440. It can refresh at 144 Hz with support to AMD FreeSync, and has a pixel response time of 1 ms. It is claimed to cover up to 95% of the DCI P3 color gamut. The monitor is also capable of outputting at 420 nits of brightness and has a 1000:1 contrast ratio, which is certified to be HDR400.

For I/O, the Raptor has one HDMI 2.0 port, one DisplayPort 1.4 port, one USB Type-C port and two USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A (5 Gbps) passthrough ports. The monitor stand features Razer Chroma RGB lighting and built-in cable management.
