Control Official System Requirements Revealed

First introduced in E3 2018 by Remedy Games, Control will be released on 27th August on PC. The third-person game will involve supernatural abilities and multi-dimensional environment, as well as NVIDIA RTX support. The official PC system requirements to run the game have been revealed.

Control should support 64-bit Windows 7, Windows 8.1 and Windows 10. For minimum requirements, Remedy suggests players to have either an Intel Core i5-7500 or AMD Ryzen 3 1300X CPU, both features 4 cores and 4 threads, and paired with 8 GB of RAM. Your computer will need a NVIDIA GTX 1060 or AMD RX 580 GPU. A RTX 2060 is required for enabling real-time ray-tracing.

Remedy recommends to have an Intel Core i5-8600K or AMD Ryzen 7 2700X CPU, 16 GB of RAM and a NVIDIA GTX 1080 Ti/AMD Radeon VII GPU. You will need to upgrade to even a RTX 2080 card for ray-tracing.

We do not know what resolution and frame rate will the minimum/recommended configurations be able to achieve. Both should support 21:9 widescreen display, uncapped frame rate, G-SYNC and FreeSync.
